How to Check Whether a Feedback Survey Link Is Official

The safest way to find a customer survey is to start from the receipt or the brand’s own website. A survey can use a specialist provider’s domain, so a different final web address is not automatically suspicious; verify that the brand’s official route led you there and that the live page identifies the survey and its privacy terms.

Check the route before entering information

  • Compare the link with the instructions on your receipt.
  • If you found it through a search engine or social post, leave that result and navigate from the brand’s official website instead.
  • If the brand’s link redirects, check that the destination page names the correct brand and explains the survey. Follow its privacy and terms links.
  • Provide only the information needed for the survey. Never enter an account password or full payment-card or bank details in a feedback form.
  • Do not publish a receipt code or survey confirmation code; another person may be able to use it.

As one current example, the address at pandaexpress.com/feedback redirected, when checked October 3, 2026, to a survey portal bearing the Panda Express name. That page asked for the receipt’s 25-digit survey code and linked to Panda Restaurant Group’s privacy policy. This example should not be used to judge another company’s survey; follow that company’s own official route.

If a page claims a prize that is not on the receipt or official survey terms, pause and check with the brand’s customer service. A guide site cannot confirm eligibility or guarantee a reward.
